Business After Hours – June 2019

An evening of nostalgia, networking and new technologies

Last night at Innovation House the Intuity team were delighted to welcome clients, friends, neighbours and peers to Intuity Technologies HQ for the final Galway Chamber Business After Hours event of the season.

Guests were greeted by CEO of Intuity Technologies, Gerry Cox and President of the Galway Chamber, Dave Hickey as they were encouraged to meet the team behind Intuity and take part in IT security challenges and demos, and to see for themselves the processes which Intuity Technologies have in place to ensure their clients remain secure, protected and successful in today’s work environment.

Playing an active role for businesses across all sectors

Gerry Cox talked about the history of Intuity as he welcomed guests – taking the room back to the early 70s when his father, Thomas Cox Senior, first set up the business, right through to the present day where Intuity Technologies is playing an active role in leading IT solutions and services for businesses across all sectors throughout Ireland, while continuing to provide employment and nurture innovation.

Dave Hickey acknowledged in his speech how the current growth in technology and in particular the huge success being enjoyed by Galway in this area is due in no small part to technology companies like Intuity Technologies who have endured from the days of DIGITAL in Galway through to Galway’s current digital revolution.

Quirky high-tech spot prizes were awarded to guests who took part in the IT Security App review which ran on the night and no-one went away empty-handed with an Intuitea cup 😉 for “everyone in the audience”!

We really enjoyed showcasing our fab new office space with our standing desks – not to mention our in-house “ArtSpace”, which you can read more about in this month’s blogposts.

We are sorry if you did not make this event; we will be running more in the coming months, but if you would like to pop in for a personal tour and demo of the new workspace, drop us an email here and we will arrange a time and date that suits.
